Terms of use
Conditions for exploring this fishing catalogue, preparing an equipment enquiry and discussing a separate purchase.
1. The store and this English-language catalogue
Ilha da Pesca is the trading name used on this website for the company identified in the About page and footer. The business address is in Vitória, Espírito Santo, Brazil. English text does not identify a United States branch, warehouse or separate seller. These conditions concern browsing the catalogue and preparing a product enquiry. A purchase discussed later needs its own product, price and fulfilment details, together with the legal protections applicable to that transaction.
2. Finding an equipment category
The range pages group rods, reels, lures and tackle so that visitors can identify an area of interest. Those groups are a route through the catalogue, rather than a specification for every product within them. A reference to shore fishing, a reel format or a lure presentation does not mean every item in that group has identical capabilities. Read the model-specific material and ask about the particular item before deciding whether it meets your intended use.
3. Understanding the equipment information
Length, line capacity, weight, retrieve ratio and similar details have meaning in relation to an exact product version. Check the manufacturer’s documentation for that version and the compatibility of the equipment you intend to combine. The general selection notes on these pages cannot resolve an incomplete model reference or establish suitability for an undisclosed use. If a description appears inconsistent with product documentation, identify the page and discrepancy so that the information can be checked before you rely on it.
4. Product photographs and the sea photograph
Images beside equipment categories come from the store’s product catalogue and introduce the relevant kind of equipment. Their presence is not confirmation of the current stock, condition or included accessories of a particular unit. The sea-fishing photograph is labelled as illustrative and credited to its photographer; it does not document a guided trip or service offered by the business. A photograph and the information accompanying a particular offer should be read together rather than treated as interchangeable evidence.
5. Preparing an enquiry without placing an order
The form asks for your name, reply address, equipment category and message, with an optional company field. Selecting the draft button prepares an on-page preview. It does not submit an order, debit a card, allocate stock or secure a collection time. Review the draft and, if you wish to send it, open your email application using the provided link. Sending, delivery and receipt are separate events and are not proved merely by a draft appearing in the browser.
6. Discussing a possible purchase
If an enquiry develops into a purchase discussion, the particular item, quantity, specification, price, payment recipient and delivery or collection arrangement should be clear before commitment. Confirm any proposed substitution or accessory separately. A category page does not establish a blanket supply commitment for every product appearing in the source catalogue. This distinction does not remove obligations arising from a specific binding representation, accepted offer or agreement; those need to be considered with the facts of the actual transaction.
7. Currency, payment and transaction records
This informational site has no checkout, payment account, credit application or instalment selector. Any later quotation should identify its currency and explain the amount and relevant charges. An English-language page is not a promise of dollar settlement, overseas shipping or a particular payment method. Keep the product reference, correspondence, agreed amount and receipt from any separately arranged payment. Never put complete card details, a banking password or an authentication code into the general enquiry message.
8. Planning a visit or collection
The location identifies the company in Vitória; it is not an appointment system or a live statement of opening hours. Before travelling for a particular item, establish the current hours, product details and collection arrangements through an acknowledged conversation. A question about a visit does not reserve that visit. Check the address in the relevant confirmed arrangement if goods are being delivered or returned, because the practical recipient and instructions can depend on the specific transaction.
9. Respecting the website and its material
You may read these pages and retain relevant information for your own enquiry. The photographs, product imagery, typography, company identity and page design can involve different rights holders. Publication here does not give an unrestricted right to republish a manufacturer image or use the company’s identity to suggest an unrelated endorsement. Do not interfere with access, attempt to obtain private administrative information or use the enquiry process to send harmful or unrelated material to other people.
10. Technical interruptions and the role of providers
A browser, email application, network or delivery provider can affect access to a page or the handling of an email draft. An unavailable page is not an order confirmation, and a displayed success state for preparing a draft means only that local preparation occurred. Browser caching may retain an earlier description. If a technical issue concerns a real purchase already arranged, use the records and contact route established for that transaction rather than interpreting a website error as a change to the agreement.
11. Questions, corrections and rights that continue to apply
Use the Contact page to identify a catalogue error, permissions question or concern about these conditions. Include the page address and the information that needs checking, without unnecessary sensitive data. The privacy notice describes browsing and the draft mechanism, while the cancellation page addresses separately arranged payments or purchases. Nothing here waives a legal right that cannot be waived or replaces a valid product warranty. These website conditions do not designate a foreign court simply because the text is in English.
